Karen M. Souder

Karen M. Souder is the Owner and Principal Broker of The Real Estate Store, Inc. / VHS Property Management and has been a licensed Realtor since 2003. Karen was born and raised in Fairfax County. Her roots are entrepreneurial stemming from a 50-year family history in real estate. After gaining market insight and experience in real estate investment properties and buying and selling real estate and property management, Karen decided to open The Real Estate Store, Inc. in 2015. Today, Karen is a contract negotiation specialist with a keen eye for numbers and detail. Karen is a down-to-earth agent with and straightforward approach. High quality standards, education, innovation, and expertise are high priorities for Karen and The Real Estate Store, Inc. Karen and her husband have lived in Culpeper for over fifteen years, and today, enjoy raising their daughter and caring for their pets. An avid animal lover, Karen has a special passion for horses and ran a horse rescue organization for ten years. She had also volunteered for her local humane society for several years. Karen is currently a member of the Culpeper Business Women, an organization helping high school girls and mom's with scholarships for college. She is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Certified Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and Certified Property Manager (CPM). She is also a member of GPR, VAR, NAR, and NARPM. Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
